What is GMod SVN Updater?
It is a little application which allows you to download a lot of addons for GMod, from SVN repositories. Why can't I use TortoiseSVN?
Of course you can use it. I made this thing because TortoiseSVN leaves those ".svn" folders in every directories of your addons, which doubles the size of them and also slows down GMod. This program only leaves a little file in the download directory, which stores the revision of the addon. By the way this way does not allow you to commit updates for the mod, so if you are a developer, use Tortoise or other methods.
Do I have the ability to convert my subversion checkout folder to this one-file-version?
Yes, if you want to download to a checkout folder, it will ask a question and you can delete the ".svn" folders and use the other version.
There are gamemodes in the list. Should I change the folder?
No, you have to use the garrysmod/addons folder for every addon, they will be redirected, so don't worry.
It gives me an error!
You should download .NET Framework 3.5, try this. |
